• 1922 : Joseph CHÂTEL buys his first lorry.
• 1942 : Purchase of the Montjoie quarry.
• 1956 : Monsieur Claude CHÂTEL. Comes into the picture
• 1967 : The company «Joseph et Claude CHÂTEL» is set up in partnership.
• 1971 : Creation of SOLETRANS (Lifting and special transport company located in Vire).
• 1974 : Establishment of the first building in the industrial zone.
• 1981 : The Head Office and all the business move to avenue de Bischwiller.
• 1996 : Jean-Claude CHÂTEL takes charge of the Groupe CHÂTEL.
• 1998 : The company joins the ASTRE grouping.
• 2002 : Buyout of transports NICOLLE.
• 2003 : Buyout of transports GUERIN.
• 2006 : Buyout of transports BLIN.
• 2007 : The logistics take a new turn with the purchase of the LETNA Company.
• 2009 : Buyout of transports BOUDESSEUL.
• 2010 : Buyout of transports LAPERCHE in Treillères.
• 2011 : Buyout of transports STGT in Valognes.
