Le groupe CHÂTEL s'engage dans une politique environnementale active et dans une démarche de qualité normalisée qui traduisent une réelle volonté de répondre aux préoccupations de ses clients.

Engagement volontaire : charte OBJECTIF CO²

Le Groupe CHÂTEL a entrepris une démarche concrète qui vise à réduire les émissions de CO², principal gaz à effet de serre responsable du changement climatique. Ouverte à toutes les entreprises du secteur, cette démarche participe à l'un des objectifs du Grenelle de l'environnement : la réduction des consommations. Selon un mode opératoire précis établi par l'ADEME, nous orientons nos actions sur 4 grands axes :

1. Les véhicules : Choisir nos investissements dans un souci environnemental pour le renouvellement de nos véhicules :

Accélération de la modernisation de la flotte (norme euroV),
Utilisation de lubrifiants synthétiques pour les moteurs,
Optimisation des pneumatiques.

2. Le carburant : Apprendre à mieux gérer sa consommation

Utilisation de la télématique embarquée,
Choix du mode de propulsion « Stop&Start ».

3. Les conducteurs : Placer l'humain au centre du dispositif

Formation à « l'éco-conduite »,
Développement des gestes économes.

4. L'organisation des transports : Repenser l'organisation de A à Z

Optimisation des itinéraires,
Affichage des émissions de CO² transport en direction des clients.

Au-delà de ce nouvel engagement, le Groupe CHÂTEL, depuis déjà de nombreuses années, pratique le tri sélectif des déchets avec des emplacements dédiés aux différents produits facilitant ainsi leur traitement.

Certification OEA :

LETNA a obtenu en 2010 le statut d'Opérateur Économique Agrée (OEA), attribué par l'administration des douanes. Ce statut international reconnu dans 141 pays et préconisé par l'Organisation Mondiale des Douanes, vise à labelliser les entreprises de la chaîne logistique qui font la preuve de leur capacité à sécuriser la traçabilité de leurs flux.

Qu'apporte la certification OEA :

Gain de temps sur les contrôles physiques et documentaires opérés par les douanes,
Traitement prioritaire en cas de contrôle,
Réduction des données à fournir pour la déclaration sommaire,
Accès facilité aux simplifications douanières.

The Groupe CHÂTEL is a family owned company, set up in 1922. In 2012, we're celebrating its 90 year anniversary and the 4th generation of management. Our wish is that one day, a 5th generation will take over. Keeping this in mind we daily try to respect our principles in order to perpetuate our historical position within the world of transport.

Key dates for the Groupe CHÂTEL :

1922 : Joseph CHÂTEL buys his first lorry.
1942 : Purchase of the Montjoie quarry.
1956 : Monsieur Claude CHÂTEL. Comes into the picture
1967 : The company «Joseph et Claude CHÂTEL» is set up in partnership.
1971 : Creation of SOLETRANS (Lifting and special transport company located in Vire).
1974 : Establishment of the first building in the industrial zone.
1981 : The Head Office and all the business move to avenue de Bischwiller.
1996 : Jean-Claude CHÂTEL takes charge of the Groupe CHÂTEL.
1998 : The company joins the ASTRE grouping.
2002 : Buyout of transports NICOLLE.
2003 : Buyout of transports GUERIN.
2006 : Buyout of transports BLIN.
2007 : The logistics take a new turn with the purchase of the LETNA Company.
2009 : Buyout of transports BOUDESSEUL.
